This morning my neighbours put up big posters on their balcony, which they painted with their children (photo above). On them you can see “me queda en casa” (I stay at home). I was very touched by this action, because this family has small children, who had to stay at home for a week now. This is a great achievement from the children and also from the parents, who keep their children in a good mood by playing or painting. Especially here in Tenerife, where the weather is always beautiful, the children are used to play outside. The children’s rooms are therefore often quite small. When I saw the posters, I realized how much patience the children and parents have during the curfew. I find this so admirable and deserves so much respect.
